Marko feels no pressure at Red Bull: 'Could quit overnight'

Helmut Marko has been Red Bull Racing's mainstay for many years. The advisor to the Austrian formation is still having a great time. However, should he wish to take a step back, he has that option at Red Bull. He reveals this in conversation with Laola1.
Since 2005, Marko has stood alongside team boss Christian Horner and experienced several successes. For instance, Red Bull managed to win four world titles with Sebastian Vettel between 2010 and 2013, while the tally with Max Verstappen now stands at two.
Marko on end at Red Bull
However, Marko does not rule out the possibility of a period of decline at Red Bull. The former Formula One driver has proven in the past that he will not drop the team lightly. However, if things get too tough for him then Marko has the option to step down.
"I fulfilled my role because of my connection with Dietrich Mateschitz, a visionary who understood everything in the big picture," states Marko, who will turn 80 next year. "If I no longer like the atmosphere, it's no longer a problem for me. I can stop from one day to the next. But the fire is still burning."
