Will Vettel return to F1 in future? 'Question is how long it will take'

Formula 1 said goodbye to Sebastian Vettel at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The four-time world champion has retired and will no longer be on the grid with Aston Martin next year. Hans-Joachim Stuck believes the German will return to the sport in the future.
Vettel had a fine F1 career with four world titles, 53 wins and 122 podium finishes. In Abu Dhabi, there was an emotional farewell for the German. At the drivers' photo, there was loud applause for the world champion, and before the race, a guard of honour was set up by all the drivers.
"I can't remember ever seeing a driver get such a farewell. It shows that people have a lot of respect for him and that he has had a great impact on F1", Stuck is quoted by Speedweek.com.
Will we see Vettel back in F1?
Vettel seems to be done with F1 for now, but not everyone is convinced of the German's permanent farewell. Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, among others, have said that Vettel will return to the sport in the future. The 71-year-old Stuck also thinks the four-time world champion will be seen again in F1 in the future. "I think he will come back. I can't imagine he won't miss the wheel, the fight and the atmosphere. The question for me is more how long it will take", said the former F1 driver.
