The Dutch Grand Prix is getting two more editions and that is good news for fans who previously missed the boat. They will get priority ticket sales for the next editions. Jan Lammers hopes to treat these fans to another great event.

On Thursday morning, Circuit Zandvoort and Formula 1 announced that the option to extend the contract through 2025 has been lifted. As a result, at least three more Grands Prix will be held in the Netherlands, but one is already sold out. Due to 1.5 million ticket requests, the Dutch Grand Prix in 2023 is already completely sold out.

Extra chance for fans who missed out on GP in 2023

So the two new editions in 2024 and 2025 mean good news for fans who missed the boat here. Indeed, in the press release, Circuit Zandvoort reports that for the 2024 edition, the many fans who were drawn for 2023 will be the first to get the chance to purchase tickets before they are offered to other interested parties.

''We are looking forward to the upcoming editions. With great races in which Dutch fans can now enjoy no less than two Dutch drivers in the highest class of motorsport. Of course, we will again offer an extensive and surprising entertainment programme with which we are committed to creating an ultimate race festival'', states Sporting Director Jan Lammers.

''We want the world to experience again how we as the Netherlands organise an orange event. It is unique that we are on the calendar with world cities like Las Vegas, Monaco and São Paulo. And, as we say internally, we are 'Ready for Tomorrow'. We need and want to put on the F1 eventof the future, which is not necessarily bigger but better, more intense, more experiential, more sustainable and more inclusive'', concludes the former F1 driver.
