Seidl may cause a stir at Sauber: 'Bottas under pressure'

Andreas Seidl's move to Sauber could cause a stir within the team, according to Ralf Schumacher. The former Formula 1 driver has learned that the new CEO wants to put the drivers under a magnifying glass and may start making changes.
Alfa Romeo, as the Formula 1 team is currently still called, chose to start with a different driver duo this calendar year. Thus, Guanyu Zhou came new to the motorsport class, while Valtteri Bottas made the switch from Mercedes with his experience.
The team managed to improve its performance considerably, but Schumacher doubts whether the drivers will stay there for long. Indeed, the German thinks changes are on the way. "I am curious what Seidl has in mind with the drivers, because there are also rumours," he reveals in conversation with Sky Sports Deutschland.
Bottas needs to watch out at Alfa Romeo
Schumacher expects Zhou's position to be secure for now. The Chinese driver brings a lot of money with him and looks set to make strides with his talent in the coming years. "But Bottas' spot, we hear a bit, is under pressure. He should not stay there for too long."
