Horner responds to 'silly season' F1 team bosses: 'I'm pretty sure of that'

There is a true silly season going on among team bosses in Formula 1. Initiated by the departure of Mattia Binotto, four of the 10 team bosses resigned in a short space of time. At Red Bull Racing, we need not expect any shocking changes in that area for the time being, according to Christian Horner.

Binotto's announced departure from Ferrari was recently followed by confirmation that Fred Vasseur is leaving Alfa Romeo to succeed him. That same morning, McLaren announced the departure of Andreas Seidl, followed almost immediately by the news that he will start work as CEO at Sauber. This while just the night before, Williams revealed that Jost Capito would quit as team boss with immediate effect.
Because of all these shifts, Alfa Romeo and Williams are still looking for a new team boss, but they need not knock on Horner's door. "It is more hectic than the driver market at the moment, we have seen quite a few changes there. However, I am pretty sure I will stay where I am," the Red Bull team boss told ServusTV.
Horner was reportedly approached even before Vasseur for the position of team boss at Ferrari, but the 49-year-old Briton would not have been keen. He recently claimed to be very committed to Red Bull Racing, where he has been team boss since its inception.
