Internet reacts to new Haas livery: 'Nice colours, but how fast?'
- GPblog.com
Haas have become the first Formula 1 team to present their livery for 2023. We still have to wait a while for the real VF-23, but reactions to the new design are already positive.
Comments on new Haas livery
Whereas the VF-22 was white with red and black, this year Haas have opted for a predominantly black car. Initial reactions to the new livery are positive: especially from the side, the F1 car looks a lot tougher. At the same time, it is noticeable that little has changed to the front view of the car.
The presentation of the 2023 design did not amount to much: a photo gallery appeared online and a press release was put out, including statements from Guenther Steiner and Gene Haas, among others, but there was no major event, and drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen did not make themselves heard either.

The view directly from the front hasn't changed too much. #Haas #F1 pic.twitter.com/IjDcvGVzQe

Factor in the way the 2016 livery was lightened, the mid-season swap of red flashes to light grey, and the one-day all-white special from testing last year, and Haas really has rocked an impressive number of looks in its short history!

I like this. I'm a sucker for black cars in general, and the contrasting white and red make this, for me, the best looking Haas we've seen since the team began. #F1

Thank you Haas for igniting the outrageous amount of hype we'll all be experiencing between now and the first race of the season
