Horner on collaboration with Ford: 'Drawing on experience and knowledge'

Christian Horner is very happy with the collaboration with Ford. During the unveiling of the new car for the 2023 Formula 1 season, the Austrian team also announced that Ford will help produce Red Bull powertrains in 2026 and beyond. The Red Bull Racing team boss thus looks very excited about the future.
"To have the ability to draw on your experience, EV knowledge and depth of resource is tremendously exciting. From the first moment we met and spoke, it was clear there was a natural synergy between the two companies. an easy deal to put together because the desire was there from both sides. We are incredibly excited in this next chapter for Red Bull as we bring the power unit in-house with Ford's support," Horner explained.
Horner realises that there is still much to be done in the coming years to make the partnership a success. "2026 seems like a long way a way, but in engine world it's tomorrow. We have a lot of ground to cover in a three-year period from a start-up. We have required some incredible talent. We've got some great people within the team."

In addition, Red Bull launched a new car which will be seen on circuits in 2023. Max Verstappen reacted very enthusiastically to the car. The Dutchman did not want to explain many details but stated that expectations are high.
