Piastri explains his driving style: 'This one of my strengths'

Oscar Piastri cannot wait for next month. Indeed, the first Grand Prix of the Formula 1 season is scheduled for early March, in which the Australian will make his debut in the motorsport class. The driver is confident he is in for a strong season.
Speaking to GPblog, Piastri calls his driving style fluid. It allows him to be very consistent in the past. "That is usually one of my strengths," he explained during the MCL60's car launch. "Going from F2 to F1, the cars are a big step up. There will be an element of getting my head around these new cars."
Although Piastri did a test in Abu Dhabi late last calendar year, he says the cars have changed in a number of parts. "But it's a new car again this year. Slightly changed floors again. There is definitely a lot of learning to do with these ground effect cars to get the most out of them. I am still learning as I go, and I am sure the learning process will continue."
Piastri ready for F1 debut
Piastri is looking forward to the new season when he will team up with teammate Lando Norris to try to take McLaren forward. The talented driver will be given time to get used to the level in his first year, although he will have to show himself as well.
"It's been nearly 18 months since I last raced now so just getting back out on track and doing what I love is the most exciting part for me. Also, being able to say my job is an F1 driver is pretty cool to be able to say. It's really cool and exciting to have achieved a childhood dream."
