Formula E driver Frijns misses fourth race in a row due to injury

Dutchman Robin Frijns will not be able to compete in the Cape Town ePrix in South Africa. On Twitter the Dutchman's team announced that Frijns will have to miss the race on medical advice.
The Formula E season started particularly badly for Frijns. On the first lap of the first race, Frijns collided with the Nissan in front of him and suffered an injury to his wrist. The doctor ruled that Frijns was not yet fit enough to get back behind the wheel, forcing him to miss consecutively the two races in Riyadh and the Hyderabad ePrix. It has now been revealed that Frijns will also have to miss the fifth race of the season, the Cape Town ePrix in South Africa.
Frijns will bet on a return to Formula E at the next race after Cape Town, the Sao Paulo ePrix. That race takes place a month after the Cape Town ePrix, which will give Frijns enough time to recover somewhat.
Frijns' team cannot make much of an impression
Frijns' team Abt Formula E is having a very mediocre season so far. Kelvin van der Linde - Frijns' replacement - and Nico Müller are two of the three drivers who still have not scored a single point. This puts Abt at the bottom of the championship. Pascal Wehrlein leads the league for now. Reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne is in a surprising 16th place. Vandoorne made the switch to DS Penske this season after his old team Mercedes withdrew from Formula E.
