Frederic Vasseur has made some changes in the background at Ferrari anyway. That is reported by Corriere della Sera. They report that the strategy lead role has fallen into the hands of Ravin Jain.
Vasseur has been Ferrari's new team boss for a couple of months now. He succeeds Mattia Binotto after the latter failed to lead Ferrari to the world title in 2022. Vasseur is known for his clarity and they noticed this right away at Ferrari. Indeed, according to the Italian media, changes have already been made within the team.
Ferrari make changes
Vasseur is said to have referred strategic chief Inaki Rueda back to the factory. In Maranello, however, he still turns his gaze to the track to give input. However, the person ultimately responsible for strategy will be Ravin Jain in 2023. A great move for the former race strategy engineer, who once entered Ferrari as a trainee.
There will also be some changes within the junior team. Indeed, Ferrari's academy would from now on be taken up by Claudio Albertini, who was previously in charge of the mechanics at the circuit. His job will be taken over by Diego Ioverno, the coach of pit stops.
