Las Vegas GP warms up audience with animations of track

The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be back on the F1 calendar in 2023. The organisers of the US F1 event shared several animations revealing what the race through Sin City should look like.
The 2023 Las Vegas GP of 19 November will be the return of F1 to Las Vegas. A Grand Prix was previously staged in the car park of casino Ceasar's Palace. With the return of Las Vegas, Liberty Media already has three US races on its calendar. And given the latest animations shared by the organisers, it should be a traditionally American grand sports fest.
Las Vegas GP promises to be photogenic
To allow the race to take place at a time when as many people as possible can watch the race without it being in the middle of the night, the GP will take place at 6 AM GMT. That means the race will be run in the dark in Las Vegas in the evening. With 10 PM as the start time, it will be the latest Grand Prix held ever.
The pictures therefore show lots of lights, an illuminated Ferris wheel, a huge illuminated globe and a large 'arena area' with huge grandstands. While it promises to be a photogenic race weekend based on these animations, it remains to be seen whether the track layout is interesting and challenging enough to also make for an exciting and fun F1 race.
