Shocking transfer? Brundle suggests Hamilton is considering Ferrari move

Lewis Hamilton is not happy with current developments at Mercedes and Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle believes he might consider a switch to Ferrari.
The 38-year-old Hamilton has repeatedly stated that he has one big ambition: to grab his eighth world title, making him the driver with the most world titles in Formula 1 history. At Mercedes, the Brit does not seem to be able to compete for the championship for the time being. Last season, Hamilton did not win a race and this year Mercedes seems to be even further behind Red Bull.
'Hamilton might consider leaving Mercedes'
Martin Brundle, therefore, thinks Hamilton is considering a move to another team. "I think it's absolutely clear that taking that eighth title is everything to him now. I think he'll want to drive wherever he can achieve that." he said.
Brundle thinks Hamilton still has enough left in him to continue in the premier class for a while. "He's obviously in the latter part of his career, but I could easily see him having another five years - look at Fernando Alonso - he's three years older than Lewis and driving probably at his best, or at least equal best."
'Hamilton might consider Ferrari'
The British commentator sees a move to Ferrari as a possible option for Hamilton. "I think there must be part of Lewis that thinks, 'you know, I'd love to go to Ferrari and do a Michael Schumacher and really turn that back into (a winning team) - if I can't win my eighth or ninth right now, why don't I go and have some fun there?'"
Brundle is sure Hamilton is considering a move to Ferrari. "I'm sure these are all playing in his mind and he'll be talking to his dad about this as well and his management team about where to go from here and that will be exacerbated by the dismal performance of the car in Bahrain."
