Max Verstappen left the biggest impression on Formula 1 fans worldwide on Sunday. After his impressive overtaking race from fifteenth to second place at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the Dutchman was voted Driver of the Day. What do GPblog's readers think about it?

Verstappen impressed a lot, but Sergio Perez ran away with the victory. After Fernando Alonso outsmarted him at the start, the Mexican reclaimed the lead on the fourth lap. After this, he proved himself perfectly capable of taking the murderous pace out of the RB19, as Verstappen failed to close the gap to his teammate in the closing stages of the race.
Behind, it was Alonso who once again impressed. The 41-year-old Spaniard drove towards third place despite a five-second time penalty, giving him the 100th podium finish of his career. However, following comments from Mercedes, the FIA decided to give the podium spot to George Russell: Aston Martin would not have served the time penalty correctly.
However, after a successful protest from the team, the stewards decided to withdraw the penalty again, and so Russell will have to hand back the cup. Does Alonso deserve the title of honour for achieving his 100th podium finish, or is Verstappen's performance just a little more impressive?
