FP1 Formula E Sao Paulo
Not long after the light turned green for the weekend's first free practice session, Vandoorne found himself in the wall. As a result, his DS Penske car sustained some damage, but it did not mark the end of the session for the 30-year-old Belgian, who would eventually record the fourth fastest time.
For Frijns, it was his first Formula E session in over two months. The Dutchman was making his return to the class after a lengthy recovery from the hand and wrist fracture he suffered in the first ePrix of the year in Mexico. Frijns finished the practice in last place.
