Norris robbery suspect acquitted

The suspect in the robbery of Lando Norris after the 2020 European Football Championship final, Liam Williams, has been acquitted after a trial. The extremely expensive Richard Mille watch was not vindicated, but it could not be proved that Williams was the perpetrator.
It remains a strange story that the suspect hung up on, but for McLaren driver Norris it was an especially frightening incident. After the England-Italy football match at Wembley Stadium, Norris was grabbed and held by his head and stripped of his watch by a second robber.
Watch and perpetrator not found
DNA from Norris had been found on Williams' arm. Williams reportedly went to the stadium that night to try to get in without tickets, reports Dailymail.com. The Briton had no explanation as to why his DNA had been found on Norris' arm. However, the Brit did say he talked about the stolen watch at a party later that night. But he said he did not steal it.
The watch in question has still not been recovered. It is a rare watch of which only five were made. Norris' watch was unique because it was the only one with a blue wristband; a band made specifically for Norris' wrist. The estimated value of the Richard Mille is a generous 144,000 pounds. Remarkably, Norris is not the only F1 driver whose Richard Mille watch has been stolen recently. It also happened to Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc with an even more exclusive specimen.
