Russell laughs at Las Vegas circuit layout: 'Looks like an animal'

George Russell appears not to be a fan of the Austrian F1 circuit, which bears the name of his Mercedes team's biggest rival: the Red Bull Ring. The tracks in Mexico and Baku also cannot count on much enthusiasm from the Mercedes driver. A big question mark remains over the new Las Vegas track, which will be visited for the first time later this season.
From his team, he received a series of maps showing all the circuits for the current season. Russell recognised almost all the circuits immediately, but the Brit's first doubt was about the track in the gambling city of the United States. "This is Vegas, it looks like some kind of animal," laughed Russell, as he turned the card around towards the camera of the YouTube channel. "I’ve not actually seen the Vegas track layout, yet. I am yet to drive it on the sim."
Therefore, Russell cannot yet say which category Las Vegas belongs to; is it Top Tier, Great, Solid or Meh. "I think it's closer to Meh than Top Tier. So, I’ll put that in between the two (Solid and Meh), for the benefit of the doubt."
Russell rated all the circuits. This is his list:
1. Top tier: Imola, Jeddah, Zandvoort, Interlagos, Silverstone, Suzuka, Spa
1.5 In between: Monaco
2. Great: Montreal, Budapest, Austin, Singapore, Qatar, Monza
2.5 In between: Melbourne
3. Solid: Barcelona, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Miami
3.5 In between: Las Vegas
4.Meh: Mexico, Baku, Spielberg
