Horner on Verstappen: 'He has a lion on his helmet for a reason'

Christian Horner has now worked with two multiple F1 champions during his time at Red Bull Racing. When the Briton compared Sebastian Vettel to reigning champion Max Verstappen, he noted some major differences.
Vettel and Verstappen differ in character
That they are two exceptionally good drivers is beyond doubt. But above all, the way the two showed and show themselves to the outside world is very different. The Red Bull boss discussed the two Red Bull champions in the Talking Bull podcast. Horner starts with Vettel: "Sebastian was a private person. He didn't give anything of himself, personality. He never let people see really who he was."
As the German got older, Horner also saw that he became a bit more comfortable with expressing his ideals and showing his character. Horner said: "People became to love that and he became hugely popular towards the end of his career. Max is a completely different character. He wears his heart on his sleeve and he has a lion painted on the top of his helmet for a reason. He drives like a lion."
