Lando Norris says he is happy with the updates to his car in Baku. He has revealed at the press conference that he is enthusiastic about the modifications. Despite his enthusiasm, the Briton says the car was supposed to be of this quality from the start of the season.
"I think that was clear early in the season that this update was coming. But what we have now is where we wanted to start the year. It’s what we should have started the year with." Norris said at Thursday afternoon's press conference in Baku.
Norris to speak about his team
The Briton himself says he has had a lot of bad luck this season. The 23-year-old McLaren driver has managed eight points this season. Norris, who previously expressed his confidence about McLaren, now compliments the team again for its updates.
"The team did a very good job to bring these things through and to get them ready. But it's about maximising what we have now," said the McLaren driver.
