Red Bull gives Verstappen new parts; no grid penalty
- GPblog.com
As expected, Max Verstappen will be at the start of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a number of parts. The Red Bull Racing driver sustained quite a bit of damage in the sprint race, but the Dutchman will appear at the start Sunday afternoon with a brand new RB19. That won't cost him a grid penalty either.
The Austrian racing stable has had four parts replaced at Verstappen's car. The reigning world champion has received a new headrest and a new antenna of the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and its ECU has been replaced.
Furthermore, the 25-year-old features a new ESS water header tank. Furthermore, the bodywork has also been replaced where a large hole was present in the sidepod after the clash with George Russell in the sprint race.
