Not for the first time
This is not the first time Red Bull has driven with a special livery. On several occasions, for instance, the team drove with a livery dedicated to a movie. In 2005, the car in Monaco advertised Star Wars III and, years later, Superman Returns. For the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix, Red Bull drove in white to draw attention to the Red Bull Wings for Life charity. This was also the last Grand Prix in David Coulthard's career.
Wings for Life gained attention again in 2015, at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The livery was made up of thousands of photos of people who had donated money to the charity. In Turkey 2021, Red Bull was again largely in white, this time in honour of Honda. The Japanese marque had announced shortly before that it was quitting as the Austrian team's engine supplier.
