De Vries on coming weekend in Miami: 'I don't like looking for excuses'

Nyck de Vries is keen on a good result over the weekend in Miami. After the bad weekend the Dutchman experienced in Azerbaijan, it is now time to perform well. That performance needs to improve soon, otherwise the Dutchman will have to fear for his place.
De Vries is postive anyway, according to his appearance at the press conference. "I think it really helps to go back racing straight away. I think there's still a good positive to take away from the back of weekend because the pace was, was really good and we made good progress as a, as a team and we started the weekend very competitively on the Friday."
The 28-year-old driver is not hiding behind the hard numbers. He too noted that things need to improve. "I don't really like to, look for excuses.
It is the way it is. And, we know that three tracks have, you know, little margin and when you put a small step wrong, then that has consequences." De Vries said.
