Perez dissatisfied after practise: 'Haven't had the greatest of Fridays'

For Sergio Perez, Friday in Miami did not go as hoped. The Red Bull Racing driver closed the first free practice session with an 11th time, but was better off in FP2 with the fourth time. However, he does see opportunities for improvement on his side.
Max Verstappen finished in first place in the second free practice session. Whereas the Dutchman was satisfied with his Friday, his Mexican teammate felt differently. Still, Perez too thinks things are basically fine on his side of the Red Bull garage.
Perez dissatisfied with Friday
"We have been trying a few things with the mechanical balance, we learnt quite a bit. In the long run we didn't manage to get a read because of the very few laps we ended up doing," Perez concluded in conversation with Sky Sports.
He continued: "I haven't had the greatest of Fridays but my lap was also pretty bad. Locked up on the final corner so a lot to come. I am not driving really well today so if I am able to improve my driving and get myself a bit more comfortable, should be alright."
