Alonso comes with a prediction again: 'Lap 25 I will be overtaken'

After Fernando Alonso's previous prediction, it is time for another one. Last time, the Spaniard predicted that Max Verstappen would overtake him on the 25th lap. This prediction turned out to be exactly right. The Dutchman starts behind Alonso again, so the question of when Verstappen would overtake him could not fail to arise, of course.
Alonso is asked on what lap he expects to be able to see Verstappen in his mirrors. Into the Sky Sports microphone, he coolly replies with: "Oh, he starts on P9? Then I will say lap 25," said the good-humoured 41-year-old.
Alonso himself will start in second place in Sunday's race. Sandwiched between two Spanish-speaking colleagues, the Aston Martin driver is seven spots ahead of Verstappen. Whether the Dutchman can win the race remains to be seen, but if it is up to Alonso's reliability, Verstappen will still be in front of the Spaniard on lap 25.
