Alonso: "The car is amazing, however, a bit of a lonely race."

Fernando Alonso claimed his fourth third-place podium finish of the season today in the Miami Grand Prix and is already looking forward to more top finishes in the upcoming triple-header. However, he did have a 'lonely race' in his eyes, despite the result.
"The car is amazing, however, a bit of a lonely race," the Spaniard told Jenson Button in the post-race interview, "there was nothing to do in front of us with the Red Bulls, and the Ferraris were worse than expected. It's never easy but it was a lonely race. It is always fun."
The Aston Martin driver went on to explain that he wants to continue to perform at the level he is and score more podium finishes, hopefully, higher than he has achieved so far this season, he said: "We were worried about the start on the wrong side of the grid, but everything is fine. Hopefully, we can keep on going, going into the triple header.
"I think at the start of the year, a podium was amazing. After four, we want more! At least a second place. The two Red Bulls are unbreakable, but maybe in Monaco, or maybe Barcelona, we have a chance."
