Marko: "Title question resolves itself for us"

Helmut Marko is not too worried about the battle between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The Red Bull Racing advisor thinks the title question solves itself in 2023.
The big question is who is going to stop Verstappen. In the United States, after a perhaps slightly weaker weekend in Azerbaijan, the Dutchman was once again on top. Sergio Perez, although in pole position, actually had little to counter his teammate all weekend.
In Sunday's race, Verstappen drove a much better stint on the hard tyre than Perez did. The reigning World Champion pitted with 12 laps to go and eventually re-entered the track about two seconds behind Perez. That difference was small enough to then overtake the Mexican, but there was still a certain pressure within Red Bull when Verstappen came in for fresh rubber.
Marko on 2023
"When you have two such good drivers, and they don't have anything to fear from anyone, there is always the thought from the pits as to whether it will go well when they race freely," Marko told Blick. So how will that go at Red Bull in 2023? "The title question solves itself for us!" Marko said.
Verstappen is on 119 points after five Grands Prix, 14 more than Perez. From other teams, the two Red Bull drivers have nothing to fear. In the Constructors' Championship, the Milton Keynes-based formation has already collected more than twice as many points as current number two Aston Martin.
How many wins so far this season, Bulls?
