Verstappen makes 24-hour of Nürburgring fun to watch
- GPblog.com
Max Verstappen is driving the virtual 24 hours of the Nürburgring with Team Redline. Nobody will be following the race over the Nordschleife in Germany for the full 24 hours, but should you do so, it might pay to keep an eye on Max Verstappen's Twitch stream.
Verstappen makes it an entertaining 24 hours
Indeed, Verstappen's 24 hours is a great spectacle of incredible overtaking moments, a permanent handicap and fun bedtime stories from the two-time F1 champion's private life. In the videos below, you can see some clips from the Dutchman's 24-hour race. Verstappen's team had connection problems on the night of the race (again), leaving it a lap behind the competition in the GT3 class at P3.
After some nice overtaking moments, the Dutchman just made the best of it in free air, telling a story about that one time he had to free his cat from the house. The permanent handicap for Verstappen during simracing at home, stepdaughter Penelope, was also there, a recurring aspect of the Dutchman's sim races. Watch the videos below.
