There will be no Grand Prix this weekend due to extreme severe weather in the northern regions of Italy. The Imola GP has been cancelled, but Formula 1 is doing all it can to still make it a motorsport weekend. Two old races will be broadcast on YouTube.

GP Imola 2021, GP San Marino 2005

On the day when normally qualifying for the 2023 Imola GP would take place, the F1 YouTube channel will broadcast the 2005 San Marino Grand Prix. This race also took place at the Imola circuit and was a true duel between Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso.

The 2021 Imola GP will also be shown on the same day, but only later in the day. In 2021 Lewis Hamilton grabbed pole on Saturday and Max Verstappen had to chase him from P3. Verstappen himself, together with his sim racing group Team Redline, will also run a virtual F1 race on the Imola circuit on Sunday.
