Mercedes announces grand plans for F1 campus in Brackley

Mercedes has announced an ambitious refurbishment of its Formula 1 plant in Brackley. The plans are part of an investment of some £70 million. The new campus will reportedly be ready by the end of 2025. This new campus will include leisure facilities, marketing buildings and an overall working environment.
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says the following in a press release by Mercedes: "The Brackley campus was built to accommodate 350 people, and today we are at 1250." The new campus is going to be built entirely in Silicon Valley style.
Wolff wants a village
The German team does not want just any campus, Wolff explains. "We want it to become its own little village, with all the amenities and benefits that you would expect from a Silicon Valley-style environment."
Mercedes is working on 30 different projects on-site to improve the facilities. So far, the company has spent £40m and another £30m has been set aside for subsequent phases. The team believes that investing in people and the environment they work in is the key to long-term success in F1.
