'All other teams have underperformed, so Horner is right'
Red Bull has yet to suffer from competition this season. The RB19 of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez has been unbeatable so far. Christian Horner is amazed at how little opposition Red Bull is getting, and Damon Hill also agrees, he told the Sky Sports F1 podcast.
It is not surprising that Horner is surprised. Red Bull managed to win every race driven so far this season. Already after five races, the Austrian team is 122 points ahead of number two Aston Martin. With this, it already seems inevitable that Verstappen and Perez's team will win the constructors' title.
Hill understands Horner
After the Miami Grand Prix, Christian Horner was accused of gloating because he asked "Where are the others?" after the race. Damon Hill thinks the Red Bull Racing team boss is right: "Red Bull, that team has produced an absolute peach of a car. They've exploited whatever loopholes there are in the regulations so that it's a legal car that is beautifully put together. I was watching Max (Verstappen) in Miami drive that thing and thinking, 'That guy can do anything with that car'. It's so beautifully balanced. But everyone else has underperformed, he's right."
