Kravitz expects Max Verstappen not to win Monaco Grand Prix
Max Verstappen is the big favourite to win the Monaco Grand Prix. The Dutchman is first in the championship, and after Miami, he seems unbeatable. However, Ted Kravitz does not think Verstappen will take victory in Monaco.
The Red Bull driver managed to win the famous race through the streets of Monaco once in 2021, with that victory seeing him take the championship lead after his rival Lewis Hamilton finished only seventh. Last year, the two-time world champion fared less well, although he finished third after a strategic error by Ferrari.
'Alonso is going to win'
Despite Verstappen driving the fastest car and managing to win the race before, Ted Kravitz thinks another driver will cross the line first, he told the Sky Sports F1 podcast: "I am going with 33, I am going with the 33rd win for Fernando Alonso. I know he’s invested a lot into it. It’s a bit of a draggy car, but it’s got great tyre performance, and he’s such a clever guy who knows how to win around Monaco."
