Max Verstappen set the fastest time in the second free practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver was just under a tenth quicker than runner-up Charles Leclerc. Carlos Sainz clocked a third time during Friday's final session. Sergio Perez, in his RB19, got no further than a P7.
The first part of this weekend's second practice session was mainly about driving laps on mediums. In the last half hour, all drivers switched to softs, in which Verstappen proved to be the fastest of the bunch. Carlos Sainz caused a red flag in the last 15 minutes by putting his Ferrari into the wall in the last sector. Check the full results below and the summary of FP2 here.
