Possible grid penalty for Leclerc; stewards call in Ferrari driver
- Toby McLuskie
Charles Leclerc drove the third fastest time in qualifying, but it is not yet certain whether the Monegasque will also be allowed to start from the second row of the grid. The Ferrari driver reportedly hindered Lando Norris in qualifying, possibly resulting in a grid penalty.
Leclerc was not driving very fast on exiting the tunnel as he was not on a fast lap. However, he did drive on the racing line. Norris lost time as a result and so he has to explain himself to the stewards. If the Monaco driver is found guilty, a grid penalty of three places may follow.
