Windsor: 'Verstappen shows every week he is the best driver'
Max Verstappen seems unbeatable at the moment. After his victory in Canada, he is 69 points clear of his teammate Sergio Perez, who did not move beyond sixth place after a disappointing qualifying session. According to Peter Windsor, you only see how well Verstappen has driven when you see his Mexican teammate's lesser performance, he says in his race analysis on his YouTube channel.
Where Perez was still shouting a few months back that he would compete for the championship, it looks like he is not going to stand a chance. For the past three races, the Red Bull driver has not been on the podium, and he also failed to get into Q3 for the third time in a row this weekend.
Windsor praises Verstappen
Windsor also sees Perez's lesser performance, and he praises Verstappen for his performance: "A performance put into perspective more than anything by Sergio Perez in the other Red Bull. But I a car that Max shows race in, race out is the best on the planet. Sergio could do nothing about the two Ferraris and certainly nothing about Lewis or Fernando. A lot of it was Max Verstappen. A lot of it was the RB19"
