Some good news has come out for F1 fans who will be present during the weekend of the Austrian Grand Prix. Contrary to earlier reports, it has been decided that beer will be allowed to be drunk and served after all, De Telegraaf reported.

On Thursday evening, it was brought out that there would be a dry run following several incidents at the 2022 Austrian Grand Prix. After consultations between the local promoter and the Formula One summit, it has become clear that alcohol will be allowed to be served after all.

GP Austria not for drinkers

Due to the variety of issues during the previous edition of the Austrian GP, there are a lot more controls around the circuit, during the edition that will start on Friday. " Anyone misbehaving or clearly tipsy or drunk will be removed from the circuit," the Dutch media reported.

Tens of thousands of fans will again be on hand in Austria this weekend to shout Max Verstappen to victory. The Dutchman will do everything possible to get his seventh win of the season. Of course, you can follow this race weekend at GPblog!
