Verstappen on Dutch in Austria: 'Very special'
Max Verstappen has little to fear from the competition this season. The Dutchman has been ripping everything to shreds and now seems almost unstoppable in Austria too. He already took the pole position during qualifying and could also add points again because of his P1 finish during the sprint race.
Verstappen on fans and Mateschitz
Amid loud cheers from tens of thousands of Verstappen fans, the reigning world champion says in an interview at the Drivers Parade that he is very happy with the support. "It's very special. I want to thank everyone who came here. Hopefully, we can make it a nice party together."
This is the first edition of the Austrian Grand Prix to be held without Red Bull Racing co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz in our midst. Verstappen wants to show him what he's all about. "We are here to make him proud and to continue everything he has meant to us," the Red Bull driver says.
