Update | FIA responds to Aston Martin protest against result of Austrian GP
Aston Martin has lodged a protest against the result of the Austrian Grand Prix. A representative of the British team is due to report to the stewards in Spielberg at 18:30.

Aston Martin disagrees with the results of the Formula 1 race held at the Red Bull Ring on Sunday. The Silverstone-based team saw Fernando Alonso cross the finish line sixth and Lance Stroll tenth.
Aston Martin's protest has everything to do with exceeding track limits. Many penalties were handed out for this, but according to Lawrence Stroll's team, some drivers may have escaped the dance. As a result, race director Niels Wittich will look at a number of deleted lap times, after which it will be determined whether more time penalties should be handed out or not. The stewards stress that race control was dealing with more than a hundred deleted lap times during the F1 race.

Meanwhile, the FIA issued a statement shared by Chris Medland on Twitter: "During the Grand Prix, Race Control was tasked with reviewing well over 1,200 instances where a car was reported as potentially leaving the track. The results will be updated once the review of those which were not able to be reviewed during the race is complete." The FIA added that it will recommend the promoters to add a gravel pit at the exit of turns 9 and 10.
