Toto Wolff was unhappy with Mercedes' weekend at the Austrian Grand Prix. The team boss found it frustrating that his team's upward trend was broken in this way, which he spoke about post-race to Sky Sports UK.

Wolff not happy with W14

"Yeah, the car had no pace today. It's a bruising day, I would say, because we have such a good upward trend, and then you have to take such a day," the Austrian told said. But the Mercedes team boss does not know where the origin of the car's problem lies. "No no, there was no pace, and I still have no idea why yet," Wolff told reporters.

Team boss Wolff was still in action during the Austrian Grand Prix while speaking over the team radio to give Hamilton a word about the car's performance. The Austrian does not think the many penalties due to track limits are the stewards' fault. "The stewards are just doing their job. It's what the rule says," Wolff said.

World CHampionship standings with Hamilton and Russell

After the late adjustments to the results, Lewis Hamilton moved down a place at the expense of teammate George Russell. Hamilton is fourth in the world championship with 104 points as a result, while Russell is seventh with 72 points.
