Internet reacts to punishments: 'This doesn't make sense anymore'
After the race at the Red Bull Ring, everyone would have thought that the fuss around track limits would be over. But nothing could be further from the truth, as on Sunday evening, it was announced that as many as eight drivers received further penalties. And those decisions did not have a positive reaction across the internet.
During qualifying on Friday, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, among others, were already complaining about the track limits. It would be very difficult to stay within the lines according to the Red Bull drivers, and this cost Perez dearly: the Mexican did not get beyond 15th place in Q2 as his laps were constantly cancelled.
Internet reactions
So now penalties have been handed out again, and this is generating criticism from fans. These are some of the reactions that occurred:

With such a short and fast track it's better not to have track limits so everyone has the same advantage.
