Verstappen missing from Silverstone press conference; Perez with Stroll

The schedule for the press conferences during the British Grand Prix weekend have been announced by the FIA. World champions Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso only have to appear in the square, as does Nyck de Vries. On Friday, the media in attendance will have the chance to fire up the team bosses of several teams.

In the first groups, Yuki Tsunoda, Esteban Ocon, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton and Alexander Albon are due to appear. The topics will include AlphaTauri's points drought and the hefty time penalties Ocon and Hamilton incurred after the Austrian Grand Prix, which also saw them both lose several championship  points.

Next up is Valtteri Bottas, Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez, Lando Norris and Kevin Magnussen. Of the five drivers, only Norris manages to beat his teammate on a regular basis. The other drivers are having a perhaps somewhat disappointing season and so we are no doubt going to hear how they plan to get more out of their packages.

A day later, between the two free practice sessions, it will be time for the team bosses of Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Williams to show their faces and answer some questions. Pirelli chief Mario Isola will also sit in,
