McLaren surprise at Silverstone

McLaren are the surprise of the British Grand Prix weekend. In Austria, Lando Norris was already going very well with the new McLaren updates, and in Britain, he did even better. Both McLarens start the race in the top three, with Norris in second place ahead of Oscar Piastri in third.

Perez struggles again

Sergio Perez once again struggled in F1 qualifying. The Mexican failed to get through Q1 on Saturday, failing to reach the final and most important qualifying session for the fifth time in a row, while teammate Verstappen captured pole for the fifth consecutive time. Perez will start the British Grand Prix from the 16th starting position.

What will the weather do?

While rain showers were initially forecast around the Silverstone circuit for Sunday, the skies have now cleared. According to weather forecasts, it is likely to remain dry, and even the sun will occasionally come through, but there is still a chance of rain.
