After F1 qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the standings in the internal duels have changed again. Which driver will win the most important duel in Formula 1 - that of his teammate?

Hamilton grabs lead from Mercedes

Qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix was exciting. As many as seven different teams ended up in Q3. These small differences allowed drivers to distinguish themselves again within their own teams. This, for instance, Lewis Hamilton did by taking pole, compared to George Russell's P18. Hamilton thus now leads the internal qualifying duel at Mercedes 6-5.

Other internal battles are less exciting. Max Verstappen ran out to a 9-1 lead over Sergio Perez with his second place and Lando Norris is even 10-1 ahead of Oscar Piastri at McLaren. The biggest margin is seen at Williams, where Alexander Albon is 11-0 ahead of Logan Sargeant this season.

Other duels are more fun to follow in that respect. For instance, at Alpine it is 6-5 in favour of Esteban Ocon, Guanyu Zhou is slightly ahead of Valtteri Bottas (6-4) this weekend and Charles Leclerc is slightly further away from Carlos Sainz (7-4). See all intermediate F1 qualifying duels below.

*If drivers cannot take action in a session due to technical problems, we do not count this as a direct win by the other driver. So qualifying in Saudi Arabia does not count as a point for Perez

** If drivers are disqualified due to technical problems, we do not count this as a direct victory for the other driver. So qualifying in England does not count as a point for Zhou.
