'I think Norris has a pre-contract at Ferrari Piastri possibly to Red Bull'

Englishman Lando Norris is said to have a pre-contract with Ferrari, at least so reports Jack Plooij. The well-performing Briton in the papaya-coloured McLaren is wanted by teams, and that while he still has a contract until mid-2025. The team will do everything it can to keep him, and for the driver himself, there seems to be no reason to leave McLaren for Ferrari now.
Norris and Piastri at McLaren
Sainz looks set to go to Audi, leaving a spot vacant at Ferrari's Italian Scuderia. So who will drive there? " Lando Norris, because I think he has a pre-contract at Ferrari," Plooij told Ziggo Sport Race Café. "I think there is a clause in it, that he can activate himself whenever he wants" the journalist continues.
There are also other rumours circulating about Norris' teammate: Oscar Piastri. Robert Doornbos managed to tell in the broadcast that he thinks the Australian talent may well go to Red Bull by lobbying Mark Webber, his manager. "That wouldn't surprise me one bit," he told.
Do Norris and Piastri themselves want to leave?
That Norris and Piastri are doing well is obvious. Over the last few races, McLaren's car has been very competitive and both drivers can fight at the front for podium spots. Whether both drivers want to leave the team where they are currently performing so well also remains to be seen.
