Windsor puts pressure on Perez: 'Not winning this one and he has a problem'

Sergio Perez is often the bitten dog when it comes to qualifying for a Grand Prix. In Belgium, the Mexican got off the mark and achieved P3 during qualifying. The Red Bull driver may start from the second spot on the front row of the grid due to teammate Max Verstappen's grid penalty. Peter Windsor sees huge opportunities for the 33-year-old driver.
Windsor puts pressure on shoulders of Red Bull driver Perez
"So a big opportunity for Perez finally, after all this time to get back possibly to winning a Grand prix again," he says in a YouTube video analysing qualifying. "He's in a Red Bull RB19 B. He's around Spa. He's on the front row. If Sergio doesn't win this one then he has a problem. Because it shouldn't be that difficult for him around Spa in a car that good," Windsor concludes.
Perez is currently second in the World Drivers' Championship. He has little threat currently as the 42-year-old Fernando Alonso is 32 points behind. The difference between Verstappen and Perez is 110 points, so Perez is kind of floating in no man's land for now.
