Horner: 'This will be our biggest challenge today'
- Toby McLuskie
Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is looking forward to the Spa Grand Prix, although the Brit is by no means certain of victory, he reveals in conversation with Viaplay.
Horner is happy with the starting position of Sergio Perez, who starts second, behind Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. "Perez is starting from a great position. He did a super job qualifying second on Friday." The Mexican should actually start from third, but due to a grid penalty for teammate Max Verstappen, he gets to move up one spot. "Max is going to try to make up as many places as possible, but needs a clean first lap," he said. The Dutchman will start from sixth, due to using a new gearbox.
'Anything is possible at Spa'
The team boss is also looking at the weather forecast. "It will be our biggest challenge today. We have to be ready to react quickly, but it is the same for anyone." He is not sure of a win:"As we have seen more often at Spa, anything can happen here."
