The next Formula 1 race is the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, held between August 25-27. It will be the 13th race in the Formula 1 calendar and the first stop after the sport's traditional summer break. It marks the start of the second half of the season.

The next Formula 1 race is the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix. This event will take place at Zandvoort and will be held from August 25 to August 27. It is a traditional Grand Prix weekend, so it will use the standard format. There will be two free practice sessions on Friday before one final 60 minutes of practice on Saturday. In the afternoon, qualifying will take place. The Dutch Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, August 27.

After the race at Zandvoort concludes, Formula 1 then heads to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix one week later. This marks the final race of the European F1 season, and the long-haul flights return for the F1 paddock. A trip to Singapore follows, before Japan, Qatar and the USA.

The 2023 Formula 1 season so far

Max Verstappen already has a healthy lead in the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship. The Red Bull Racing driver has scored 314 points so far. His nearest rival, also his teammate, Sergio Perez, is 125 points behind. As a result, Red Bull Racing also have a healthy lead in the Constructors World Championship with 503 points. The 12 races completed in the 2023 World Championship have all been won by Red Bull drivers. Verstappen has secured ten wins, with Perez winning the other two. Verstappen has two sprint wins to his name, with Perez also winning a sprint himself. The battle for the World Championship is between Verstappen and Perez, but it seems like the Dutchman has by far the best chance. 

Fernando Alonso is renewing his old rivalry with Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. The seven-time World Champion is one point behind his former teammate in the World Championship after his performance at Spa, but Mercedes are looking stronger after their upgrades. George Russell is also in this battle. McLaren have made big strides in recent races.
