Another equalling special record for Verstappen
Max Verstappen keeps driving himself into the history books of Formula 1. At Spa-Francorchamps, the Dutchman managed to drive from a sixth starting position to win, and with this feat, he equalled a special record previously held only by Fernando Alonso.
With a win from sixth on the grid, Max Verstappen has now won from nine different starting positions. Fernando Alonso was the record holder until last weekend, but the Spaniard must now put the Dutchman next to him.
Start him anywhere on the grid, and @Max33Verstappen will win

Verstappen wins most often from pole position
Verstappen has so far won the most races from pole position. No less than twenty-two victories were taken from the first starting position. However, the Red Bull Racing driver has shown, in recent years, that he can win from lower starting positions. Perhaps the most memorable was his victory in the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix. That year, Verstappen had to come from the 14th starting position, but he still managed to win the race in the Ardennes by force.
