What does Mercedes team boss Wolff find most difficult about his role?
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff is once again Mercedes' team boss this season. During the race, he sits at the pitwall and keeps a close eye on the performances of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. So what does the Austrian himself find most difficult about his role as team boss? He explains it himself.
"The hardest part for being a team principal is to juggle all those areas, the racing side, regulations, key accounting with our sponsors and having a long-term view, so getting that balance right is tricky. The most important is to have an interest for the people and really enjoy the interaction, that's what I love to do," Wolff revealed in a Q&A on Mercedes' Instagram.
Wolff with 'breaking news'
A few weeks ago, it came out that Wolff had broken his elbow. A picture posted on Instagram by wife Susie Wolff showed the Austrian's arm in a plaster cast. The Formula 1 weekend at Zandvoort is scheduled in a week and a half from now, the question is whether he will also appear there with a plaster cast.
Mercedes is second in the constructors' standings. Red Bull Racing managed to bring in 503 points with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Despite Mercedes' second place, the team still has less than half the energy drink brand's points.
