It's something many Formula 1 fans would be all too happy to see: Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in the same F1 team at the front of the grid. That this will happen seems very unlikely, yet Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard speculate in the Formula For Success podcast which of the two titans would then run away with victory.

Jordan doesn't forget age Hamilton

"Well it depends if you say the same car, you have to talk about age and the same level of experience aswell," the Irishman points out, adding that the comparison is not entirely fair now. To which Coulthard replies, "So you think right now, Lewis is too old to go head to head with Max?" To this, Jordan immediately replies, "Yes, I think it is over".

"I think he [Hamilton] will win Grand Prix but he will needs certain things to fall into place for him. I think Lewis has submerged the last couple of races. He's been really strong and I'm impressed with what he's doing. Max is at that sweet spot for his age, experience, belief and knowledge. It's going to take some job to knock him of his perch, I think right now in the same car, right at this moment as we speak with the same ages, it has to be Max."

Coulthard also chooses Verstappen

The former Red Bull Racing driver also sees Verstappen coming away with the win. "Well I still reckon Lewis has got it. They are both exceptional, they are both great racing drivers. Look if they were in the same team, I think there would be some contact. I've got to say Max is in that sweet spot at 25 years of age, to have done what he's done in his time in Formula One, he's got to have the edge," Coulthard says.
