Verstappen chooses between current dominance and battle with Hamilton in 2021

Max Verstappen, along with Red Bull Racing, is enjoying an extremely dominant period in Formula 1. A stark contrast to two years ago, when he was embroiled in a fierce battle with Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton on his way to his first world title.
Dominance vs fight with Hamilton
Opinions are divided about the course of the current F1 season. Not everyone can enjoy the dominance of Verstappen and Red Bull, but others stress that it is precisely something special and historic that should be appreciated.
In 2021, an intense battle played out until the final metres of the last race, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Asked by Sky Sports whether he would prefer a battle like in 2021 or the current dominance, Verstappen is clear: "I have a lot more fun now. This is what I like to do. I like to win, I like to dominate, I like to work with the people I'm working with."
He continued: "It's very enjoyable. And I always want more. And people think it gets boring for me when I'm leading, but absolutely not. That's what I wanted to do from a very young age and I always wanted to be there."
