Vettel has texted Verstappen about 9 record wins: "Well done, keep it up"

Max Verstappen has revealed that Sebastian Vettel texted the Dutchman about the record number of consecutive wins in F1. Currently, Vettel holds the record, but Verstappen has the chance to equal it in Sunday's Dutch Grand Prix. Verstappen will start from pole position.

Vettel achieved the record at the end of the 2013 season when he won his fourth World Championship. Verstappen is now going through his own dominate period. The Dutchman is surprised he has reached such a streak.
“I think after like five wins in a row or something, I think Seb texted me, ‘well done, what you're doing at the moment, keep it up, and you're going to do it,’ but nine wins in a row is something very impressive, and I never thought I would be able to be already on eight, so, if it's possible tomorrow, of course I go for it," Verstappen said.
Verstappen continued: "It's not something I have in the back of my head, like ‘I need to do this, I need to do this’, I'm not in this sport to try and break records, I'm just here to win in the moment.”
Verstappen's closest challenger at the start of the Dutch Grand Prix will be Lando Norris. His teammate, Sergio Perez, will start from seventh.
